Gabbi McGee competes in the 300-meter hurdles at the Invitational of the South at Marshall County
Alicia McGee led Trigg County’s charge at the Invitational of the South track meet at Marshall County on Saturday.
McGee ran to a second-place showing in the 300-meter hurdles in a time of 52.96 seconds.
She also placed fourth in the 200 dash in 28.89 seconds and was 11th in the 100-meter dash in 13.92 seconds.
Alivia Norwood was 10th in the discus at 78 feet, 10.5 inches.
For Trigg’s guys, Brody Renfroe had an eighth-place finish in the 1,600-meter run in 5:22.35.
The Wildcats’ 4×800-meter relay team also placed eighth in 9:29.93.
Trigg’s girls finished 16th out of 24 schools in the team standings.
Trigg’s boys placed 21st.
Marshall County swept the team competitions.
