
Caldwell County’s girls hit four home runs while claiming an 11-6 win at Ohio County on Tuesday.
Brylee Butts continued her hot start at the plate this season, going 3-for-4 with two home runs and three runs batted in.
In nine games, Butts is batting .639 with six home runs and 14 runs batted in.
Harper Holeman was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs. Holeman is now hitting .516 this season with four homers and 16 RBIs.
Carlee Palm also had a long ball and finished the day 2-for-3 while driving in three.
Caldwell never trailed after putting up two runs in the first inning, one in the second and two more in the third.
The Lady Eagles (5-3) got back to within 5-3 after three innings and 7-5 after four.
But a four-run fifth helped the Lady Tigers open up some breathing room on the way to the five-run victory.
Jackie Farmer pitched the first four innings to earn the win for Caldwell.
Sydney Glisson pitched the final three innings to pick up a save.
The Lady Tigers are now 6-3 and have won five of their last six games.
Caldwell’s girls will host Dawson Springs for a 7th District varsity doubleheader on Thursday.
