This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of March 18 is University Heights Academy’s Courtland Gibson. Courtland was selected based on his performance in the Blazers’ district doubleheader sweep over the Fort Campbell Falcons last Monday.
Courtland finished the day with four hits and four RBIs over the two games. His efforts helped lead the Blazers to a 6-5 comeback win in the opener and an 18-1 win in the second game of the doubleheader.
The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County (Christian County, Hopkinsville, University Heights, Christian County, and Fort Campbell) based on their performance in a big game for their team that week.
