Hopkinsville Tiger basketball standout Antonio Williams made it official Wednesday afternoon that he will be headed to the ‘Show Me’ state to continue displaying his basketball talents. During a ceremony in Tiger Gym, Williams signed his paperwork to attend Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Three Rivers is a member of the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference and the National Junior College Athletic Association.
In his recently completed senior season, Williams averaged 26.1 points and 13.5 rebounds per contest. He shot 61.8 percent from the field, making 303 of 490 shots from the field.
During his junior season, Williams helped to lead the Tigers to the 2nd Region championship game, where they came within an eyelash of upending regional favorite Lyon County.
Williams averaged 18 points and 11.5 rebounds per contest. He shot 55.8 percent from the field.
During his sophomore season in 2021-2022, Williams averaged 10.8 points and 6.1 rebounds a game.
