Dalke Leads HCA Shooters at NASP State

Heritage Christian Academy sent 16 archers to the National Archery in Schools (NASP) State Tournament in Louisville on Saturday.

Makena Dalke was the top female shooter for HCA, finishing in 260th place out of over 1,500 shooters with a score of 274.

Presley Cole shot a 268 to finish in 468th place.

Lucas Loftus shot a 267 to come in 556th place out of over 1,460 guys in the high school division.

Tyler Martin shot a 264 to finish 413 out of over 1,700 middle schoolers.

1,456 Preston Killebrew (MS) – 224

1,690 Eric Smith (MS) – 195

As a team, HCA totaled 2,958 to finish in 145th place.

The top 12 scores shot by the school are added to get the team total.

At the Trigg County Arrowcat Classic on March 23, HCA topped 3,000 points and finished in ninth place.

Mekena Dalke had the top score with 272, while Johnathan Allard had the top score for the guys with 267. Dalke finished in 25th place, while Allard was 32nd.
