Lady Wildcats Finish in 6th Place at Calloway Lake Invite

Alicia McGee continued her strong start to the track and field season for Trigg County with a pair of top-three finishes at Saturday’s Calloway County Laker Invite.

The Lady Wildcat junior came in second place in the 300-meter hurdles in 52.25 seconds and third in the 100-meter dash in 13.50 seconds. She also finished sixth in the 200-meter dash in 28.71 seconds.

Brooke Humphries came in seventh place in the 100-meter hurdles in 20.05 seconds.

Gabbi McGee was 10th in the 300-meter hurdles in 1:09.90.

Ella Dollison was 12th in the 800 meters at 3:10.11.

Evonna McGee was 14th in the 400-meter run in 1:13.70.

Addison Humphries was 15th in the 200 meters in 31.80 seconds, 16th in the 100-meter dash in 14.70 seconds, and 20th in the 400 meters in 1:17.47.

Jadynce Hancock was 17th in the 800-meter run in 3:38.75.

Riley Brame was 20th in the 200 meters in 32.36 seconds.

Kira Curlin was 21st in the 400-meter dash in 1:22.02.

The 3200-meter relay team of Kira Curlin, Jadynce Hancock, Addison Humphries, and Gabbi McGee finished in fifth place in a time of 13:09.76.

In the field events, Riley Brame was fourth in the high jump with a height of 4-06.

Alivia Norwood came in eighth place in the shot put with a distance of 25-11.25.

Allayah Hargrove was in eighth place in the discus throw at 71 feet.

Evonna McGee was eighth in the long jump with a distance of 13-07.5 and was 12th in the discus throw at 54-04.

Ella Dollison was tenth in the long jump at 13-01.25.

Karley Johnson was 11th in the shot put with a toss of 24-04.25.

Brooke Humphries was 12th place in the shot put at 21-03.25.

Brilee Higgins was 12th in the long jump at 12-04.5.

As a team, Trigg County finished in sixth place with 34.5 points – 8.5 points behind fifth-place Bowling Green and a half point ahead of seventh place Crittenden County. Calloway County, expected to challenge for the Class 2A state title, won the event with 192 points.
