
Christian County’s Cayden Cline and Michael Webb and Hopkinsville High’s Tyson Cavinder all ran personal best times in the 1600-meter run at the Calloway County Laker Invite on Saturday.
All three also broke the five-minute mark. Cline, an eighth grader, ran the mile in 4:55.62 and finished in second place. Webb, a junior, was third in 4:58.33. Cavinder, a freshman, was fourth in 4:59.80.
The race was won by Calloway County’s Ashton Robinson, who also ran a personal best time and finished in 4:46.23.
