
Crittenden County used a six-run third inning and a seven-run fourth to eliminate Fort Campbell 16-1 Tuesday in the semifinals of the 2nd Region All A Classic.
The Falcons (3-14) grabbed an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning at Lyon County’s Jim Boyd Field at Lee S. Jones Park in Eddyville.

However, Crittenden countered with two runs in the bottom of the first, then added another run in the second before exploding for big frames in the third and fourth.
Quinn Summers went 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and three runs batted in for Crittenden. Hudson Stokes and Kaiden Travis each went 2-for-3 and knocked in three. Jeremiah Foster was 2-for-2.
Stokes went the distance on the mound for the Rockets. He allowed one earned run on four hits while fanning five and walking two.
Crittenden (10-6) will face Lyon County (8-4) for the championship on Thursday. The Lyons beat Caldwell County 7-3 in Tuesday’s late semifinal contest.
