After allowing a first-inning run on Friday against visiting Henderson County, Hopkinsville’s JJ Thompson was nearly untouchable the rest of the way to lead the Tigers to a 2-1 victory over the defending 2nd-Region champion Colonels. Afterward, Thompson talked about settling down after the opening frame on the way to a signature victory for the red-hot Tigers.
