
The Caldwell County boys’ basketball team honored its top performers from this past season at its annual awards ceremony Sunday at the CCHS Fine Arts Center.
The Tigers went 19-14 this past season.
Award-winners included:
Carter Whittington — Varsity Tiger Award, Assist Leader, Most Steals and Senior Award;
Demaurius Thompson — Best Free Throw Percentage, Best 3-Point Percentage; Senior Award;
Ryan Hammett — Sixth-Man Award, Senior Award;
Jaydarius Wilson — Most Points Per Game, Most Rebounds, Best Field Goal Percentage;
Collin Whittington — 110% Award;
Gus Fox — Most Improved;
Luke Parker — Defense Award;
Daelyn Lander — Newcomer Award;
Cade Rowland — JV Mr. Offense;
Jack Roach — JV Mr. Defense;
Ethan Ramage — JV Most Improved;
Kam Wilson — Freshman Mr. Offense;
Kese Wilson — Freshman Mr. Defense;
Mitchell Phelps — Freshman Most Improved.
