The Hopkinsville Tigers had several athletes return home with Top 10 finishes from this year’s Paducah Tilghman Invitational. Hopkinsville was one of 18 schools competing in this year’s event.
The Tigers’ best effort of the day came from Keyshun Teal, who finished 1st in the 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 43.64. That time was more than .4 seconds faster than 2nd place finisher Josiah Copeland, of Paducah Tilghman.
Iriel Leak just missed out on a 1st place finish. He came in second in the Boys 400 Meter Dash with a time of 53.13. That was just .20 behind Rylan George, of Union County.
Top 10 finishes in the meet for the Tigers were:
Keyshun Teal – 300 Meter Hurdles – 1st place
Iriel Leak – 400 Meter Dash – 2nd place
Davian Simon – Discus – 3rd place
Keyshun Teal – 110 Meter Hurdles – 6th place
Elijah Reid – 110 Meter Hurdles – 7th place
Savior Davis – 800 Meter Run – 8th place
4×100 Meter Relay Team – 9th place
4×200 Meter Relat Team – 9th place
