With region tennis now less than a week away, teams are working to get players in position to make runs at the regional tournament, which will be played at Ruff Park. The University Heights Academy Blazers hosted the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons in a 2nd Region matchup Monday afternoon with the Maroons taking the 7-2 team win.
Madisonville won 5 of the 6 singles matches scored in the team competition. The Maroons also took three ‘exhibition’ singles matches.
In doubles play, the Maroons took two of the three team-scored matches for the evening.
