Caldwell County’s guys took five of six singles matches to pick up a win over Lyon County in tennis action Monday at the CCHS tennis courts.
The Tigers took the match by a 5-3 count.
In singles play:
Ryan Hammett (CC) defeated Hunter Patterson 6-1, 6-0;
Noah Bailey (CC) def. Jacob Matchen 9-8 (7-4);
Cason Littlejohn (CC) def. Christian Patton 8-0;
Elijah Thomas (CC) def. Jasse Riley 8-4;
Ben Menser (CC) def. Koner Knott 8-1;
Jasse Riley (LC) def. Cash Johnson 8-4.
In doubles:
Jackson Crawford/Zach Radivonyk (LC) def. Bailey/Littlejohn 6-3, 6-3;
Matchen/Patterson (LC) def. Menser/Thomas 8-1.
Caldwell’s tennis team will go to Webster County on Tuesday while Lyon visits Paducah St. Mary.
