
It was a long night of tennis for the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers and the Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons Monday. The two teams played on the courts ar Ruff Park and played two complete team matches as they had been rained out earlier in the season.
In the opening match, which was the ‘home’ match for the Lady Maroons, Madisonville took an 8-0 team win. The Lady Maroons won all five singles matches and all three doubles matches that were played.

The second match, which was the home match for the Lady Tigers played well into the night. This one the Lady Maroons won 4-3. Madisonville won 3 of 5 singles matches and the two teams split the two doubles matches that were played.
