With a school record 49.47 time in the 400 meters to his name, Hopkinsville’s Gavin Alston made his college choice official on Thursday, signing alongside teammate Ian Rossario to continue his track career at Lindsey Wilson College.
Alston also owns the school’s sixth-best run in the 200-meter with a 22.51 and is third in school history as a part of the 800-meter relay with a time of 1:31.12.
Lindsey Wilson is an NAIA school in Columbia, KY. On Monday, the Blue Raiders just wrapped up a third-place finish in the Mid-South Conference Championships.
