Caldwell County senior Cole Slone drew the start on the mound on Senior Day.
He tossed a five-hit shutout and struck out nine as the Tigers picked up a 1-0 decision over Calloway County on Friday.
Slone is 7-1 this season, while the win over the Lakers was Caldwell’s 22nd of the year.
