
Thomas Hallmark’s RBI single in the bottom of the 6th inning broke a 1-1 tie as the UHA Blazers scored three runs in the inning to take a 4-1 win over the Ohio County Eagles. With the win the Blazers finish the regular season with a record of 21-11.
After Hallmark’s RBI single, the Blazers added a run on a bunt single from Eli Finch, who then later scored on a wild pitch.
Bryson Turner then set the Eagles down in order in the top of the seventh to close out the win.
The game had been a pitchers duel between UHA’s Jaiden Miles and Eagles’ pitchers Owen McConnell and Isaac Lloyd for most of the night.
The Blazers got on the board in the bottom of the third on a sac fly from Cadence Gibson after two errors and a walk from Ohio County.

Ohio County evened things up with a run in the top of the fifth on a wild pitch after a walk and back-to-back singles.
Hayden Hunt led the offense for the Blazers, going 3-4. Eli Finch ended up 1-3 with an RBI and two runs scored. For the game, the Blazers outhit Ohio County 10 to 4 with eight different Blazers getting a hit.
Jaiden Miles got the start and went five innings, giving up one run on two hits, striking out five and walking one.
