In a preview of an opening-round district tournament matchup, the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons closed out their regular season with a road district win. The Lady Falcons turned back a game effort from the UHA Lady Blazers and took an 8-5 win on the Lady Blazers’ home field Thursday evening.
The game was close throughout with the Lady Falcons getting enough done to take the three-run win. The win for Fort Campbell was the third this season over University Heights.
The two teams will be back on the field against one another Monday night at Christian County High School in the semifinals of the 8th District tournament.
The Lady Falcons will enter that district tournament matchup having won four of the last five games in the series.
