On the final day of school at Lyon County, senior Josie Kaminski signed for her next academic destination.
Kaminski inked a deal to play tennis at Transylvania University in Lexington.
Transylvania is an NCAA Div. III school which competes in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Kaminski officially signed Thursday in front of family, friends and classmates at the high school.
She finished up her high school tennis career earlier this week, playing singles for Lyon in the 2nd Region tournament in Hopkinsville.
Meanwhile, the Transylvania women’s tennis team concluded its season last week in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Pioneers fell to two-time defending national champion Claremont Mudd Scripps.
