Lyon County’s Anna Crawford started slowly in Thursday’s Region 2 tennis semifinal matchup with Henderson County’s Jaylee Duncan, dropping the first set 6-3 and trailing early on in the second.
But Crawford dug deep to rally and tie the set at 6-6 before evening the match with a 10-8 tiebreaker victory. Another tiebreaker followed, with Crawford outlasting Duncan 12-10 to advance to the championship match.
