After leading the team with 23 points and over 12 rebounds per game on the way to All-Region honors, Christian County’s Derrell Bateman signed on Tuesday to continue his basketball career at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas.
The Cardinals amassed a 27-8 record last season in the National Junior College Athletic Association, topping Lee College to win the Region XIV Championship before bowing out in the second round of the NJCAA Division 1 Championship.
