
After all of the regional times had been entered, the Todd County Central track and field teams will have four more entries taking part in the Class A state track and field meet in Lexington. The squad had three entries qualify automatically due to a first or second place finish on the day of the regional meet.
For the Lady Rebels, there were two additional entries that now qualify for stater. Mary Beth Prather will compete, along with her teammate Melanie Chamberlaine in the Girls 300 Meter Hurdles. Prather took 5th place at region, while Chamberlaine had already qualified with a second place finish.
Both Chamberlaine and Prather, along with Jalayah Williamson and Jamya Kay, now also qualify in the Girls 4×200 Meter Relay. The team of Jazaria Carter, Jesslynn Ezell, Daymea Garrett, and Jamya Kay had qualified the day of the regional with a second place finish.
On the boys side, both the 4×100 and the 4×200 meter relay teams are now qualified for the state meet. The 4×100 team is comprised of Fisher Borders, who qualified individually the day of regional in the Boys 200 Meter Dash, Maze Fitzgerald, Trey Osborne, and Sonny Borders.
The 4×200 meter relay team is made up of Sonny Borders, John Ross Cardwell, B.J. Farlow, and Titus Rager.
