In just her second season on the track, Alicia McGee brought home her first state meet medal on Friday.

The Trigg County junior finished in sixth place in the 300-meter hurdles with a personal best time of 49.88 seconds. She came into the meet as the 13th seed and had to watch the final heat run before she learned of her top-six finish.

With just 40 minutes of rest, McGee finished in 20th place in the 200 meters in 28.16 seconds.

For the guys, the 3200-meter relay team of Braxton Hargrove, Dekon Perry, Matthew Reeves, and Brody Renfroe finished in 13th place in 8:50.07 – the 10th fastest effort in school history.
