The Hopkinsville girls track and field team sent four relays and three individuals to the Clark’s Pump-N-Shop Class 2A State Meet in Lexington on Friday.
The 800-meter relay team of Ollia Dixon, Arniya Brown, Janiyah Rhodes, and Grace Cansler finished 11th with a time of 1:53.60.
The 400-meter relay team of Kaniya Jackson, Ollia Dixon, Arniya Brown, and Janiyah Rhodes came in 14th place in a season-best time of 53.13 seconds.
The 1600-meter relay team of Kaniya Jackson, Amaya Burse, Grace Cansler, and Anarria Settles came in 15th place in 4:32.62 – a season-best time.
The 3200-meter relay team of Rebecca Wood, Kaydon Coats, Alexis Herrera Loveto, and Lauren Mayes ran an 11:09.61 to finish in 16th place.
Anarria Settles was 11th in the 300-meter hurdles in 50.42 seconds.
Lauren Mayes was 13th in the 3200-meter run in 12:49.08.
Grace Cansler was 21st in the 400-meter dash in 1:05.59.
