Henderson County Claims Top-15 Finishes at State Meet

Henderson County had four entries at Saturday’s Clark’s Pump-N-Shop Class 3A State Meet in Lexington.

Anthony Burrus was 10^th in the high jump at 5 feet, 10 inches.

Andrew O’Nan was 12^th in the shot put at 45 feet, 7.5 inches.

Lacon McKinney was 13^th in the 400-meter run in 50.88 seconds.

Avery Thompson was the lone Lady Colonel to qualify for state. She finished 14^th in the pole vault at 8 feet, 6 inches.
