Travis Perry and Brady Shoulders played like the Sweet 16 championship game was last week instead of two months ago.

The Lyon County stars both scored in double figures to lead the Kentucky All-Stars to a 124-98 win over the Junior All-Stars on Saturday at Eastern High School in Louisville.

Shoulders, who has signed with Mercer, scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds — the only player in the contest with a double-double. He was 7 of 8 from the field in 23 minutes

Perry, Kentucky’s Mr. Basketball who has signed with the University of Kentucky, scored 18 points and had four steals in 29 minutes. He was 8 of 15 from the field, including 2 of 7 behind the arc.

The seniors led 51-49 at halftime of the 40-minute contest before a 13-0 run early in the second half saw them extend their lead.

Max Green (Oldham County/Holy Cross) led all scorers with 27 points and handed out six assists. Quel’Ron House (Seneca/Morehead State) added 17 points.

Christian County’s Derrell Bateman scored two points but added six rebounds and three assists in 16 minutes. Hopkinsville’s Antonio Williams played 10 minutes and scored six points and pulled down four rebounds.

Two players that Lyon County met in the Sweet 16 led the Junior team. Ashland Blazer’s Zander Carter scored 20 points and Harlan County’s Maddox Huff added 15. The Juniors were playing without Great Crossing’s Malachi Moreno and Butler County’s Ty Price.

Kentucky’s seniors will play Indiana Friday night at Lexington Catholic High School and Saturday in Indianapolis. Indiana leads the all-time series 104-45. Kentucky snapped a seven-game losing streak to Indiana last year with a 94-90 win in Owensboro.
