It was a Top 5 finish for University Heights Academy golfer Conlee Lindsey Monday at the Bluegrass Golf Tour stop in Bowling Green. The tour hosted an event at the Bowling Green Country Club.
Playing in the Girls’ 15-18 division, Lindsey finished her round with an 85. She shot 44 on the front nine and then shot the best back nine in her age division with a 41 on the backside.
Her score of 85 put her in third place, four shots behind co-leaders Carol Ann Mendenhall, of Nicholasville, and McCall Moore, of Paducah.
In the Girls’ 14 & Under division, Campbell Lindsey tied for third place in the event.
