Trigg County junior Alicia McGee cracked the 50-second mark in the 300-meter hurdles for the first time at the Class 2A State Meet last weekend in Lexington.
It capped a season that saw her improve in the event by 10 seconds from her first meet of the season and nab a sixth-place finish at state. McGee also qualified for the state meet in the 200-meter run.
With her first state meet in her pocket, McGee talked about how the experience will push her in 2025.
