ISCO Industries, a total piping solutions provider, is the new title sponsor for the PGA Tour stop in Kentucky through 2027.

The ISCO Championship will be played at Champions at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville July 8-14. The event was previously known as the Barbasol Championship.

“As a proud company based in the Bluegrass State, ISCO Industries has stepped up to further elevate the ISCO Championship in the Kentucky community,” said Tyler Dennis, PGA TOUR Chief Competitions Officer. “The PGA TOUR and DP World Tour look forward to introducing ISCO to its players and fans at the ISCO Championship later this year.”

However, rumors continue that this will be the last year for the event to be at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville before it moves to a course in Louisville.

Dan Koett handles publicity locally for the PGA Tour’s Kentucky event and confirmed the tournament’s future site has been a topic of conversation.

“The 2024 ISCO Championship is just around the corner and our collective efforts are focused on making this year our best tournament to date,” Koett said. “Thanks to ISCO Industries, the TOUR will remain in Kentucky until at least 2027.

“Conversations related to where the ISCO Championship will be played in the Commonwealth beyond ‘24 are being tabled until the conclusion of this year’s event.”

ISCO is headquartered in Louisville and has 35 facilities in the United States and Canada. Moving the tournament to Louisville certainly would be a logical move for the title sponsor.

“We are incredibly proud to step forward as the title sponsor of Kentucky’s sole PGA TOUR event,” said ISCO CEO Jimmy Kirchdorfer in a PGA Tour release. “This partnership embodies our commitment to excellence and community engagement. As a Kentucky-based company with deep roots in the region, we are thrilled to support this event and contribute to the growth of golf in our home state. We look forward to an exciting tournament and extending our Kentucky hospitality to players and visitors from around the world.”

The ISCO Championship will have a field of 156 players again including 50 players from the DP World Tour and will have a purse of $4 million. The winner will also get 300 FedEXCup points.

Vincent Norman won the 2023 event in his rookie season.  Previous winners of the ISCO Championship were Trey Mullinax, Seamus Power, Jim Herman, Troy Merritt, Grayson Murray, Aaron Baddeley and Scott Pi.
