Kentucky baseball opened Super Regional play with a dominate 10-0 victory over Oregon State on Saturday night.
Trey Pooser tossed seven shutout innings and surrendered just one hit in what was yet another stellar performance by the team’s ace.
While “Postseason Poos” silenced the Oregon State offense, Kentucky’s bats continued to sizzle as the team hit .312 in the game and Ryan Nicholson delivered a 3-run homer to lead the charge.
Kentucky returns to action tonight with a chance to punch their ticket to the College World Series.
