
Lyon County junior Eli Baker was named to the Kentucky Baseball Coaches Association All-State First Team.
Baker, who was voted region player of the year, was 6-2 on the mound with a 1.27 ERA and 73 strikeouts in 55 innings.
At the plate, the Radford University commit batted .337 with two home runs and 17 RBI with 18 extra-base hits and 15 stolen bases.
Baker and Hopkinsville’s J.J. Thompson were the lone players from the Second Region to earn a postseason nod from the KHBCA.
McCracken County’s Miller Green was voted Mr. Baseball.
