Lyon County senior Carter Bounds has been recognized by the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Bounds has been selected second team on the Class 1A All-Area 1 Track & Field Team in the 3,200-meter run.
He is also the Lyon County Track and Field Athlete of the Year and Lyon County Distance Runner of the Year.
Bounds is the school-record holder in the 3,200 run and holds nine of the school’s top 10 fastest times in that event.
