There is nothing like a good game of wiffle ball. Whether young or old, there is just something about the plastic bat and ball that brings out the fun waiting somewhere inside all of us.
The Hoptown Hoppers have added a chance for young and the young at heart to enjoy a little of the wiffle ball joy while the Hoppers are on the field nearby.
Hoppers’ board member Judge John Atkins told YourSportsEdge.Com that a wiffleball field has been set up for those who would like to have a bit of fun during Hoppers’ games at Hopkinsville High School.

The field is laid out in a grassy area behind the first base dugout. The field was first available for some wiffleball action during Thursday night’s doubleheader against the Paducah Chiefs. Several youngsters were taking advantage of the field during the course of the evening.
It is hoped that the field will provide some place for youngsters to have a little extra fun on the nights that the Hoppers are at home at Hopkinsville High School.
