Elliot Evans
Crittenden County sophomores Elliot Evans and Andrea Federico have been named honorable mention all-state by the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association.
Both Lady Rockets were named honorable mention on the Class A team.
While the Kentucky High School Athletic Association does not class softball, the all-state awards are presented in three classes as determined by the KHSAA track and field alignment.
Evans hit .381 this season and stole 23 bases. She was also 5-9 in the pitching circle.
Federico batted .426 with 11 home runs and 45 runs batted in. Of her 46 base hits, 24 went for extra bases.
Crittenden went 14-20 this season, falling to Livingston Central in the 5th District semifinals.
