Kentucky baseball’s College World Series game against Florida has been postponed due to the threat of severe weather in Omaha, NE.
The Wildcats and Gators were scheduled to play at 6 PM ET on Tuesday night but will now play at 11 AM ET on Wednesday, with the loser being eliminated from the CWS.
The delay will provide an extra day of what is likely much-needed rest for both teams.
Head coach Nick Mingione’s team struggled on Monday night against Texas A&M and star pitcher Ryan Prager. It took the Wildcats nine innings to get on the board while surrendering five runs in the loss.

I like it..get a good rest.
UT, FSU & A&M look like the cream of the crop with great depth to boot..
Gotta beat the hottest team in June, then 4 of 5 against the aforementioned group. Quite a task. David will need 5 stones in his sling.
Large task..gotta compartmentalize. One pitch and bat at a time
only way to do it Grant
