The Dawson Springs Girls track and field team had four athletes named to the All-Area 1 team.
Audrey McCoy was named Second Team All-Area 1 for all classes in the high jump and was named Class 1A All-Region First Team. She was a region champion and finished in 21st place at the Class 1A State Meet.
Three athletes earned Class 1A All-Area Second Team honors.
Kimberly Hoover, who was fourth in the region in the 300-meter hurdles; Olivia Hines, who was third in the region in the 800-meter run; and Ashtyn Swatzell, fourth in the region in the 3200-meter run, earned 1A Area 1 Second Team accolades.
