The University Heights Academy Lady Blazers had three individuals and three relay teams named to the Area 1 track and field teams.
Emma Dill, who ran a personal best time in finishing second at the region meet in the 100-meter hurdles was named First Team in all classes covered by Area 1 but was named Second Team in Class 1A. She was named First Team All-Area in Class 1A in the 300-meter hurdles.
Skylar Cantrell, the school record holder in the 800 meters, was named to the Class 1A All-Area First Team. She finished second at the region meet and was 14th at the Class 1A State Meet.
Ajae Oatts, who finished in fourth place at the region meet in the 200-meter dash, was named to the Class 1A All-Area Second Team
The 1600-meter relay team of Emma Dill, Audrey Grise, Kendall Hancock, and Skylar Cantrell was named to the Second Team for all classes in Area 1 and the First Team for Class 1A. They finished eighth at the Class 1A State Meet and ran the third-fastest time in school history.
Named to the Class 1A Second Team were the 800 and 3200-meter relay teams.
