The Fort Campbell girls’ track and field team was well represented on the All-Area 1 team announced after the state track meet.
Rosella Rajj earned Area honors in three individual events. She was named First Team All-Region in the triple jump and Second Team All-Region in the 300-meter hurdles. Rajj took home Second Team All-Area honors for all classes in the high jump and was also named All-Region.
Emmie Underwood was named First Team All-Area 1 for all classes in the 3200-meter run and was Second Team All-Area 1 in the 1600-meter run.
Jerni Hicks was named Second Team All-Area 1 in the 100-meter dash and Second Team All-Region in the high jump.
Zyaziah Langley was named First Team All-Region in the 400-meter dash, joining Lillianah Dewitt who was named First Team All-Region in the 200-meter dash, Ava Roberts, who earned First Team All-Region in the pole vault, and Chanelle Fobbs, who was Second-Team All-Region in the 100-meter dash.
Fort Campbell’s relay teams also picked up postseason accolades. The 400, 800, and 3200-meter relays each were named Second Team All-Area 1 and Second Team All-Region. The 1600-meter relay team earned Second Team All-Region.
