
The Todd County Central Rebels were not able to earn one of the first round byes for the double-elimination bracket portion of the Best of the West 7-on-7 passing tournament, which will be played beginning Saturday morning at the Stadium of Champions.

The Rebels were scheduled to take on James Lawson in their final game of the day Friday. However, James Lawson elected not to play in the increasingly warm conditions and the Rebels picked up a forfeit.
With the 1-3 record, Todd County Central will now open bracket play on Saturday at 9am against Clarksville Northeast. A win over Northeast would match the Rebels against Macon County while a loss would drop them into the consolation bracket.
