The Caldwell County golf team saw its first action of the new season Tuesday in the 12th annual Marshall County Invitational Golf Tournament at Calvert City Country Club.
Cole Wyatt shot a 92 and Scott Cortner had a 93 on a difficult course that played from the tips and had many tight pin placements.
Also for the Tigers, Landon Mitchell shot 100 in his first varsity golf tourney.
Caldwell’s guys will play again on Thursday in the Trigg County Invitational at Boots Randolph Golf Course.
