The Madisonville-North Hopkins golf team continued its strong start to the golf season on Thursday with a fourth-place finish at the Trigg County Invitational.
The Maroons placed two golfers in the top six and three in the top 16 at Boots Randolph Golf Course at Lake Barkley State Resort Park.
Treyson Raymer shot a 2-over par 73 to tie for third place, and Tyler Bryan tied for 6th place with a 3-over 74.
Jake Witherspoon carded a 75 with Max Clayton and Michael Terry shooting an 81. Brennen Cole shot an 85.
The Maroons shot a season-low score of 303 to finish behind first place Owensboro (295) and Marshall County and McCracken County who tied for second place with a score of 299.
Madisonville will return to action on Monday at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club Invitational.
