The University Heights Academy Lady Blazers look to be ready for the start of the 2024 high school soccer season. The Lady Blazer offense found the net 16 times in a pair of preseason wins Saturday.
The Lady Blazers opened the day with an 8-1 win over Mayfield. Skylar Cantrell, Kendall Hancock, and Emory Lester had two goals each to lead UHA. Audrey Perry and Alyssa Grise added one goal each. Perry and Kate Gibson had two assists each.
Madison Williams finished the match with four saves in goal.
The Lady Blazers kept the offense rolling in their second match of the day, taking an 8-0 win over Paducah Tilghman. Kendall Hancock finished with four goals. Skylar Cantrell added three scores, while Audrey Perry had one.
Skylar Cantrell contributed three assists to the cause while Alyssa Grise added two.
