The host Henderson County Lady Colonels took team honors and the first three spots in individual play Monday at the Lady Colonel Invitational. The event was played at the Henderson Country Club.
Henderson finished with a team score of 330, well ahead of second-place finisher Owensboro Catholic, which shot a 395. Muhlenberg County took third place.
Henderson’s Meryl Grogan took medalist honors with a round of 77. That score was four shots better than her teammate Lucy Whitfield. Ainsley Dalton, also of Henderson County, finished in third place.
Marion County’s Sam Abell took 4th place.
