Lady Maroon Stoltz Commits to Missouri-St. Louis for Softball

Mackenzie Stoltz, the dual-threat softball player for Madisonville-North Hopkins High School, has announced she will play her college softball at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Stoltz made the announcement on social media on Wednesday.

The upcoming senior excelled both at the plate and in the circle for the Lady Maroons in 2024. She won six games and had two saves while posting a 2.89 ERA and 149 strikeouts in 100 innings pitched.

At the plate, she hit .396 with six home runs and 30 RBI – both team highs – for a Lady Maroon squad that won the 7th District Tournament.

Stoltz was named All-District and All-Region in both 2023 and 2024 by the coaches.

As a sophomore, she was 19-4 in the circle with a 3.15 ERA and 165 strikeouts.  At the plate, she hit .454 with seven homers and 35 RBI.

Missouri-St. Louis is an NCAA Division II school that competes in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Tritons were 28-27 in 2024, including a 14-12 record in conference play.
