Madisonville North Hopkins’ Addison Melton took medalist honors and the Lady Maroons claimed the team win Monday at the Madisonville Country Club. Golfers from Hopkins County Central, Madisonville-North Hopkins, and Muhlenberg County hit the course under sunny and warm conditions.
Melton finished her 9-hole round with a score of 44. That score was four shots better than Macy Cotton (48), from Hopkins County Central. Harper Frizzel and Emma Duncan, of Madisonville, finished third at 51.
The Lady Maroons finished with a team score of 200. Muhlenberg County ended up with a 223.
