
Hopkinsville High School senior Cate Blane shot her season-best score at Tuesday’s Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club Invitational and finished in a tie for fourth place.
Blane began her day on No. 11 and eagled the par-5 14th hole to move to 2-under through four holes. Despite two birdies in her final nine holes, two bogeys and a double bogey on No. 8 knocked her out of contention. She finished with a 3-over 74.
Marshall County’s Katie Roberts shot an even-par 71 to defeat Daviess County’s Claire Reynolds and North Hardin’s AnnaMae Atcher by one shot.
