Christian County continued the growing of its girls’ golf program with an eighth-place team finish at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club Invitational on Tuesday.
Allie Ezell led the Lady Colonels with a round of 117 and finished in a tie for 48th place. Her scorecard included four bogeys and a par on the 17th hole.
Alyse Ezell tied for 51st place with a 121. She had a bogey on the 13th hole.
Two other golfers – Carter Jane Wilson and Anslee West – each played their first 18-hole events for the Lady Colonels.
Wilson also shot a 121 and had a par and two bogeys on her scorecard.
West shot a 139 to finish in 54th place.
In addition to several midweek 9-hole matches in the coming weeks, Christian County will host its invitational on August 24.
