The Heritage Christian Academy Lady Warriors looked ready for the 2024 volleyball season to get underway Friday night. The Lady Warriors hosted New Covenant Christian in a preseason scrimmage and came away with a straight set win.
Heritage was rolling from the very beginning of the match. The Lady Warriors took the opening set 25-5. The second set was more of the same as HCA took a 25-6 win. The Lady Warriors then closed out the match with a 25-14 win in the third set.
Katie Cansler had a big night for the Lady Warriors with 8 kills. Mya Goodwin and Grace Conley added three kills each.
Hadlee Hayes did the job setting the table for her teammates. Hayes ended the night with 8 assists.
The Lady Warriors are set to open the regular season August 19 when they host Livingston Central.
