
Madisonville North-Hopkins finished in eighth place at the Paducah Tilghman Invitational on Saturday at Paxton Park.
Adison Melton led the Lady Maroons with a tie for 33rd place. Her round of 99 included three pars as she shot a 48 on the front nine.
Seventh grader Harper Frizzell shot a 36-over par 107 to finish in 38th place. Her round included a par on No. 13.
Emma Duncan had two pars and carded a 111 to come in 39th place.
Brooklyn Nelson shot a 116 to tie for 43rd place with a round that included a par on No. 2.
Reagan Ramsey also had a par – on No. 13 – as she shot a 120 to place 48th.
Josie Morris’ par came on No. 5 as her round of 122 was good for 49th place.
Seventh grader A.J. Ratliff shot a 134 in her first varsity tournament to finish in 53rd place.
The Maroons’ score was 446 to finish 20 shots behind seventh place Muhlenberg County. Marshall County won the title with a 323.
