
She was the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers’ leading scorer last season as a freshman with 22 goals. Kaydon Coats’ sophomore season got off to a pretty good start Tuesday night as well.
Coats broke a 0-0 tie early in the second half with a pair of goals helping to lead the Lady Tigers past Logan County 3-0 in the season-opener at the Stadium of Champions. Both goals came in a four minute span to help ignite the Hopkinsville offense.
After the match, she spoke with YSE about her effort and about her role for this year’s Lady Tiger team.
